Baby Room

At Sparkles your baby will experience a bright, spacious and purpose built setting. Babies can join us from 6 weeks of age and we have a ratio of 1 adult to 3 babies.

Our baby room encourages creativity and exploration through the provision of a wide range of quality materials, including treasure baskets and wonder boxes, to stimulate their senses and curiosity.

Each baby has a dedicated key person. At Sparkles we are aware that babies have their own routine and your baby's key person will work with you in order to accommodate that routine.

You will receive an account of your baby's day, in their daily record book, with information on feeding, sleep and play experiences. In addition to your baby's daily record book our staff will be available to have a chat with you.

Toddler Room

The toddler room has been designed to provide a developmentally appropriate environment which enables and encourages creativity, independence, confidence, problem solving and social skills.

Furniture and resources have been carefully selected to encourage exploration and provide a safe learning environment.

Each toddler has a dedicated Key Person who will work in partnership with you. You will receive an account of your toddler's day, in their daily record book and in addition our staff will be available to have a chat with you about their progress.

Pre School

At Sparkles our aim is to provide a high quality care and education experience. To achieve this our staff team regularly plan an appropriate curriculum for the children. Planning is very important to effectively promote children's learning experiences in the early years. Through planning we can ensure that the staff have a clear idea of what they want the children to learn and how they will promote this learning through the activities they provide. It also helps them to build a picture of the individual child and how they are progressing.

Each pre school child has a dedicated Key Person who will work in partnership with you. You will receive regular progress reports and in addition our staff will be available for informal and formal chats about their progress.
